Say instead: “I am good enough just as I am, but I can improve if I want”.

Say instead: “I am as beautiful as God made me and happy with me!”
“I don’t have the ability to do that”.
Say instead: “If others can do that, I can too. I just have to learn how”.
“I am so dumb..every one tells me so.”
Say instead: “I am not dumb. I don’t care what other people think or say!”
“No one likes me.”
Say instead: “I don’t need other people’s approval in my life. I like me.”
and so and so forth..
Learn new Skills to Acquire Competencies.
In order to develop your self-confidence, you will need to acquire some competencies. Learn and master new skills, so, if necessary, you can teach others the same.
It can be in any field, carpentry, art, academic subjects, sports, knitting, cooking, gardening, games, and so on. Once you have acquired some competencies, find ways to show off your new skills to family members, friends, work colleagues, etc, so you can be seen to be an “expert” in your chosen field..
That will certainly boost your self-confidence!
Set SMART Goals.
It is important to set goals in your life. The trick of success and in creating a positive self-esteem is by achieving small successes one after the other, and then celebrating those successes.
When you “pat yourself on the back” for a success, however small, your confidence is boosted and you are more ready and more able to achieve more successes in your life.
